Q: Can I make or receive collect calls?

No. Accepting collect calls is incompatible with the ImpactConnect service. They will be refused.

Q: Does ImpactConnect Hosted PBX support extension dialing?

Yes it does! You can conveniently dial extensions.

Q: Will making or receiving calls be any different?

There's no difference in the way you make your calls on ImpactConnect. Just pick up the phone as you normally would when making or receiving calls.

Q: Where can I call with the ImpactConnect Hosted PBX service?

With your ImpactConnect Hosted PBX service, you can call any number anywhere in the world, however the standard configuration is for US domestic calling only. To enable international dialing, please contact customer support.

Q: How many minutes are included with ImpactConnect?

There's no need to count minutes, because with ImpactConnect Hosted PBX you have unlimited domestic outgoing and incoming calls

Q: Can I use my computer and talk on the phone at the same time?

Yes. You can use a computer and talk on the phone at the same time. Your ImpactConnect Hosted PBX service works independently of your computer. However, please note that heavy internet use such as streaming video or other bandwidth-intensive activities may affect the quality of your simultaneous voice connections.

Q: How does my business-class phone connect to my ImpactConnect Hosted PBX service?

Your ImpactConnect Hosted PBX phone system requires a physical internet connection to the network. The connection must be via broadband Ethernet greater than 100kbps.

Q: Can I make operator assisted calls?

Yes. To place an Operator assisted call, simply dial 0 (zero) from your phone and an operator will answer the call. Please note, additional charges will apply. Operator Assisted calls are $3.00 per call. Also, please be aware that when you use this service you are talking to a third party operator, not Lingo.
