The App enables you to connect to your ImpactConnect Hosted PBX service from your smartphone.

The ImpactConnect Hosted PBX App works on iOS and Android devices.

iOS Devices: The ImpactConnect Hosted PBX App is supported on current versions of iPhones and iPad devices with an iOS release of 5.0 or higher.

Android Devices: The ImpactConnect Hosted PBX App is supported on current versions of the Android Operating Systems (OS) smartphone and tablet devices with an Android OS release of 2.3 or higher.

Q: How much does the ImpactConnect Hosted PBX App cost?

Q: Where can I get the ImpactConnect Hosted PBX App?

Download the ImpactConnect Hosted PBX App in the Google Play or Apple App store. To find the App in the stores, search for “ImpactConnect.”

Q: How do I register my ImpactConnect Hosted PBX App?
A:

Once your App is fully downloaded, there are 2 options for registration:

Register using your username and password information:

  • Open the App and enter your username and password you received in your ‘Welcome’ email.
  • Your App will be registered once you submit your username and password information.

Register using the QR code:

  • Open the App and click the QR code icon.
  • Scan the QR code you received in your ‘Welcome’ email.
  • The username and password fields will automatically populate and your App will be registered.
Q: How do I access my ImpactConnect Hosted PBX voicemail from the App?
A:

Dial *98. After the prompt, enter your voicemail password followed by the # sign.

Q: How do I transfer a call to voicemail?
A:

Dial *99 and the user’s extension.

Q: How do I record a call?
A:

Calls made from and received to your ImpactConnect Hosted PBX App can be recorded. To record a call, press the Record button during an active call. To access your recorded calls, click the History icon. Under History, select the Record button and your Recorded Calls will be listed accordingly.

Q: How do I configure my ImpactConnect Hosted PBX App settings?
A:

The ImpactConnect Hosted PBX App settings are different for Android and iOS devices.

iOS Devices: To access your settings, go to the Keypad screen and select the Settings button.

Android Devices: To access your settings, click/hold down the menu button on your Android device.

Q: How do I allow my phone’s privacy settings to have access to my ImpactConnect Hosted PBX App?
A:

iOS Devices: To allow your phone’s privacy settings access to your ImpactConnect Hosted PBX App, click the Settings icon on your phone’s main screen. Scroll down and select the ImpactMobile App. Toggle between ‘selected’ and ‘non-selected’ for your ImpactConnect Hosted PBX App to have access to your Contacts, Microphone, Notifications, and Cellular Data.

Android Devices: Click/hold down the menu button on your Android device and select the option for the ImpactConnect Hosted PBX App to have access to your phone’s privacy settings.

Q: How can I reset my ImpactConnect Hosted PBX App?
A:

Resetting your ImpactConnect Hosted PBX App restores the App to its original settings. All saved settings and history will be deleted upon re-activation. After you re-set your App, you will have to re-register your ImpactConnect Hosted PBX App using your user name and password or the QR code from your ‘Welcome’ email.

iOS Devices: Under Settings, click on Preferences. Scroll down to Activation and click Reset.

Android Devices: Under Settings, click on Provisioning. Scroll down to Reset Application and click Reset.

Q: Why can’t I see a “Join” button while I’m on an active call?
A:

If you are using the ImpactConnect Hosted PBX App on an Android device, there isn’t an option for “Join” to make a 3 Way Call. 3 Way Calling is not supported on the ImpactConnect Hosted PBX App for Android devices.

Q: How can I route my calls?
A:

There are three options for you to route your calls:

1. Prefer Wi-Fi: routes calls when you are in rage of a Wi-Fi connection.

2. Wi-Fi Only: routes calls only when you are connected to Wi-Fi.

3. Prefer 3G for Voice: routes calls when connected to 3G.

You can configure your call routing preferences under Settings>Preferences. For iOS, your call routing preferences are listed under 3G/Wi-Fi Selection. For Android, your call routing preferences are listed under Wi-Fi Settings.
